This property was long a part of Nelson W. Clark's property. It passed to Ransom Johnson after Clark left the Village in 1873 for Northville.

This gambrel roof building served as a double house, the home of Mrs. Milen Vliet and her son William and his wife, Ruth. Mr. and Mrs. Milen Vliet ran the Green Acres Inn on West Washington until the Depression. William was the manager and Ruth was a cook for the Inn.
