1860 Village of Clarkson census records listed Malon as a 28 year old wagonmaker who was born in N.Y. Wife, Octavia, 28 at the time was born in Michigan. Children, at the time were listed as Ada, age 3 and John, 81/2 months, both born in Michigan.
