Proprietor of Carran Implements, c.1900, in the building north of the one on the northeast corner of E. Washington & N. Main St. (Note: both buildings had Greek Revival broken pediment entablature.) According to local reports Carran was the originator of the McCormick Day parade which took place in the Village in the spring in the late 1870s.
