Edwin built the home at 52 N. Main. Edwin owned the Phoenix Ironworks in Detroit. He & son, Lee opened the Vulcan Art Metal Works in Clarkston in 1915. They built the stone building on the site of 64/66 S. Main after moving the Alex Young house to the back of that site.
