Robinson, Dr. Horace

  • Died 1863. According to 1860 Clarkston census records, Horace was born in 1808 in Vermont. Members of the household included Lurancy, 38, born in N.Y.; "Cyntha", 14, born in Michigan and Mary E., 12, born in Ohio.
  • One of Clarkston's first physicians who with Dr. Nelson Abbey opened the first drugstore on the northeast corner of E. Washington & N. Main St. He was Township Supervisor in 1840. His residence was a house on the northeast corner of N. Main & Clarkston-Orion Rd. The doctor was killed by another hunter while hunting turkeys.
