9 North Holcomb St.

This Tudor Revival style brick house was built 1928 /1929, owner Virgin Owen. (See a house of similar style in Houses by Mail, "The Birmingham", page 296, available at the Independence Township Library, call number 728:373.) The addition to the rear was constructed circa 1970. The property, circa 1850, was a part of William Holcomb's holdings. By 1862 it had become a part of J. M. Clark's property.
