"Frank", according to an article in a 1921 Community News, Frank was the first mayor of Clarkston.

Frank had a lumberyard on E. Church St. (currently the site of the Methodist Church ). The business was moved by son, Byron, to 89 N. Holcomb St. (See Daily Press, Pontiac article, 1903). Frank was also a builder responsible for much of the building in the area at the turn of the century.
