A vernacular farmhouse style built circa 1920, this house was the home of Lee Clark and wife, Bertha. Lee and his father, Edwin M. Clark, were descendants of Clarkston's founding fathers. They were the owners of Vulcan Art Metal Works at 64/66 S. Main established 1915. (The business began in Detroit.) Before living here, Lee lived in a house behind the Main Street business. (That house was moved in the 1950s to Sashabaw Rd.)

- Part of Lot 6 in the Northwest Addition to Nelson W. Clark's Plat of the Village in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 20 in Independence Township.
- Lot 35 of the Supervisor's Replat of the Northwest Addition and part of the Original Plat.
Significant Property History:
- Note: All the properties currently located in the Historic District were originally part of a tract registered by Butler Holcomb with the federal government on October 22, 1831. Thus, abstracts for these properties, when they exist, show the original transfer to be from the United States to Butler Holcomb and may also include references to then President Andrew Jackson.

- 1872 Map of the Village has the footprint of 28/30 N. Holcomb, owner R. Bescherer,but no footprint on this site.
- 1904 Theodore Phillips, north by Robert Beardslee, south by Mrs. Irene Woodhull, assessed value $500.
- 1914 Theodore Phillips, south by Woodhull, north by F. Holcomb, east by pond, west by the Street.
