This bungalow style house was built circa 1926, owner George Mann. A second story was added in the early 1960s.
The property from 1862 until after the turn of the century belonged to the Thomas Broomfield who lived in the house to the east. (Note: A Clarkston News article of 5/4/1934 says there was the "Washington Tea Room in the 3rd house across the dam", proprietor, Agnes E. Whitaker. )
